Ben Wolfe’s recording, From Here I See, is a continuation of his belief in the primacy of melody over all other aspects of music. The recording features all original compositions presented in a standard jazz quartet format. Most of the compositions are ballads combining the quartet with a string quartet. A number of compositions also feature special guests.
